Our Front Desk
Receptionist Kerry and our owner Fiona run our front desk.
Kerry prepares welcome packs and checks guests in and out. She responds to requests and bookings throughout the day. Did you know that we book excursions, day tours and the Magnetic Island Sealink ferry for our guests?
We have many repeat guests, and Kerry ensures that after each stay profiles are updated in our system. This is important as we value personal service and forge connections with our guests. We love seeing people return to our Park, because they enjoyed their previous stays so much.
As we are a sustainable operation, we encourage visitors to learn about our initiatives as well as ways to live and travel more sustainably themselves.
We assist with nearly everything and provide support with guests’ dilemmas whilst travelling, whether it be hospital visits, breakdowns, or other crises.
Managing our Park
Fiona manages the Park and starts her day with checking emails and responding to requests and online reviews. It’s great when guests leave reviews, even when they are not positive, we learn from it and improve where we can.
Fiona also project manages the development of our glamping eco area, liaising with trades people and ordering sustainable materials and keeping to deadlines. She also does the accounts, as well as rate setting for our camping sites, cabins, and eco- glamping tents. And when Kerry isn’t there, she manages the front desk.
We pride ourselves in having the cleanest facilities. Currently Fiona does all the cleaning of the park amenity block, ensuites, camp kitchen, laundry facilities and cabins.
Our membership of the Caravan Park Association Queensland, Ecotourism Australia, Caravan Industry Association Australia, Chamber of Commerce and Industry is Queensland’s EcoBiz program sees us proudly operating to the highest standard.
Our aim is to provide our guests with the best experience, from checking in to checking out and in between.
